Let's Help Brock battle his Cancer
Submitted By Karen Gibb on Wednesday, May 10, 2017
A week after tryouts for the Minor PeeWee team Brock Chessell and his family received the news that he has liver cancer. He has bravely begun treatments this week.
In addition to this, his Dad Chris (HPL Coach of the Minor PeeWee team) injured his knee playing in a father/son basketball game last week requiring surgery. Chris will require extensive rehabilitation.
Julie is an active member on the HPL Board of Directors and is Manager of the 06 team.
So many Laker families have asked "How can we help?"

A goFundme account has been set up for anyone who is interested in making a donation support the family during this very challenging time. see https://www.gofundme.com/lets-help-the-chessell-family

In addition to this, helmet stickers have been made #7Strong and will be available at our parent meetings for $10 with all proceeds going to the Chessell family.

Your generosity, support and prayers for Chris, Julie and Brock and their family is very much appreciated!
