A week after tryouts for the Minor PeeWee team Brock Chessell and his family received the news that he has liver cancer. He has bravely begun treatments this week.
In addition to this, his Dad Chris (HPL Coach of the Minor PeeWee team) injured his knee playing in a father/son basketball game last week requiring surgery. Chris will require extensive rehabilitation.
Julie is an active member on the HPL Board of Directors and is Manager of the 06 team.
