Krys Barch Joins HPL as Minor Atom Coach
The Huron Perth Lakers are excited to announce Krys Barch as the head coach for the “AAA” Minor Atom team for the 2018-19 season.

He will be working side by side, with our present list of extremely skilled coaches, building a strong foundation for our “AAA” Minor Atom team and continued success of the Huron Perth Lakers Hockey Association.

Kris is the current Buffalo Sabres Development Coach and co-owner/head instructor of Axis Hockey Systems. He is focused on developing, not just elite athletes, but more importantly, young leaders by way of creating a program driven by character, respect and hard work. A father of 3 boys, Krys started and finished his junior hockey career with the London Knights of the OHL (1997-99), then going on to play 15 years of professional hockey, 8 of those in the National Hockey League (2006-14).

The Lakers are looking forward to the relationship potential, as a result of the knowledge gained through his hockey experiences, current role of developing and mentoring NHL prospects, as well as his strong positive connection to the local hockey community.
