Welcome Dan Schiedel, as Huron Perth Laker Major Bantam Coach.
Dan is a graduate of St. Marys Minor Hockey who went on to play 5 years with his hometown St. Marys Jr. B Lincolns.
Dan started his coaching career in Calgary with both the "Grass Roots Hockey" and "Eagles Learn to Skate Programs". From here, Dan relocated back to St. Marys where he coached Mite/Tyke hockey followed by 4 years as coach for St. Marys Atom BB team. Dan's coaching philosophy is focused not only on individual skill development but also increasing player knowledge of team play and tactics. Dan puts an emphasis on challenging his players with a "never stop getting better" attitude while competing hard, having fun and respecting the game of hockey. He consistently reinforces the importance and spirit of being a good teammate. Dan is excited for the opportunity to coach the Huron Perth Laker Major Bantams for the 2019-2020 season.
