Schlitt A Great Addition
The Huron-Perth Lakers Midgets are pleased to announce that Dave Schlitt will help assist Head Coach Smalley for the 2009/2010 season.
Dave Schlitt spent thirteen seasons as Head Coach at the AA and AAA Levels in the Waterloo Minor Hockey Association. The last five seasons, Schlitt was the Head Coach of the Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA team. In his stint as Head Coach, Schlitt compiled an overall great record of 184 wins, 83 losses and 25 ties, including an Alliance Hockey play-off championship in 2006-2007 and a trip to the play-off finals in 2004-2005 season.
Schlitt has his Advanced Level One Coaching Certification and is a National Coaching Certification Program clinic facilitator for Alliance Hockey. Schlitt has also been a coach and evaluator for the Alliance Hockey Under-17 program since 2003.
