Nov 14~Minor Bantams vs London Jr Knights Green
REVENGE
The Minor Bantams headed to London seeking revenge for giving London a point the week before and it would only be two minutes before they scored their first of the night.

Jacob Middleton opened the scoring with some great individual effort as he skated through London and flipped the puck over the London net minder. Having taken a point from the Lakers the game before, London was in no mood to lay down and came back with a goal of their own five minutes later when a London player was able to come in on Dekoning all alone and made a beautiful deke.

The second period saw the Lakers all over London but only able to score once when Haddock passed the puck back to Alex Peters whose hard low shot deflected off of a London players skate and into the back of the net.

The third started with a goal by McKenzie Carter after Nathan Templeman and Derek Elliott cycled the puck in the London corner and Templeman dished the puck off to Carter who had worked himself into some open ice.  London, however, stormed right back to come within one just a minute later. At that point the Lakers took control and would allow London no more chances as they started to take the score out of London’s reach. Roland McKeown scored the fourth for the Lakers on a hard blast that literally went right through the London goalie. Garrett James would then take a feed from Bayley Boyes and snipe the top corner. That was followed just 38 seconds later when Carter deflected a Peters' point shot into the top corner. McKeown would finish the scoring when Riley Roberts fed the puck to James who rushed it end to end and made a great low shot with McKeown their to bury the rebound.

Final 7-2 Lakers, Shots 31 – 14 in favor of the Lakers.

Nov 9~Minor Bantams vs London Jr. Knights Green

This was a game where the underdogs could see the Minor Bantams were playing under the weather and stepped it up a notch to steal a point from the league’s first place team.

The Lakers scored part way through the first when Garrett James passed the puck to Keegan McLelland behind the London net. McLelland saw Quinten Haddock in front and made a perfect pass that Haddock made no mistakes in burying.

The second period was all London as the energy was slipping away from the Lakers who were wishing they were home in bed. Daniel Dekoning was called upon to make some strong saves to hold on to their one goal lead as they headed to the change room between the second and third.

The Lakers came out with some renewed energy and generated some good chances in the third; however, they were unable to find the back of the net. It would be London that would score in the third as one of their wingers broke free and fired a hard shot to tie the game.

Final 1-1, shots 27 – 14 in favor of the Lakers.
