With the semi-final games for the All-Ontario Major Peewee tournament in St. Marys set the Huron-Perth Lakers missed out…
With Toronto Marlboros, Kingston Jr. Frontenac’s, Gloucester Rangers and Nickel City Sons moving on to the semi-finals, this ends the season for the Huron-Perth Lakers Major PeeWee team. The Lakers competed very well in this tournament as a host team. Out of the top four, the Lakers were as good as three of them with a bounce here and a break there going the Lakers way, the Lakers could have replaced any one of those three. This “97” Laker team needs to believe in themselves. The comment that I kept hearing repeated this year and at the OHF tournament was “that the “97” Lakers team is one of the hardest working 97 teams around.”
The “97” Huron-Perth Laker Major PeeWee team would like to thank all of their sponsors for the support at the OHF tournament and throughout the year.
