Team Personnel, Roster, Major Atom, 2009-10 (Huron Perth Lakers)

Currently a resident of Sebringville, Shawn is a returning Lakers coach having coached last season’s Minor Atoms to a Consolation Championship.

Shawn's teams have achieved back-toback league championships at the Atom Girls A/AA level in 2005 through 2007.

Shawn's philosophy emphasizes hard work, respect, fun, life skills as well as providing the opportunity to meet new friends and learn the game of hockey.

Jason has 13 years of coaching experience at the Minor Hockey, AAA and Junior B levels. He was an Assistant Coach with the Lakers Major Atoms this past season while also being the Associate Coach for the Listowel Cyclones Junior B Hockey Club.

Jason has identified that the key areas in order to achieve both Team Success and Individual Development are: Commitment to Work Ethic and Focus, Team “ First ” Play & Attitude, and a Positive & Motivational Environment.

Being a former player and coach for many years, Jason wishes to instill his knowledge – leadership – respect - and passion for the game into our young players; ensuring their development as individuals both on, and off, the ice is achieved.

Jason resides in Gowanstown with his wife Patti and 3 children: Brock, Owen and Maggie.
