The Huron Perth Lakers Minor Atoms edged the London Jr Knights Green 5-3 on Sunday December 20th in St Marys.
The Minor Atoms dominated the game from the drop of the puck. William Chisholm and Sam Tindall were excellent defensively holding the blueline while Joshua McNaughton, Ryan Thede and Trent Buchanan fired off great shots from the point. Tanner Knechtel was great in goal and offensively the Minor Atoms peppered the Knight’s goalie. Scoring for the Lakers were Kaleb Pearson with 2 goals and singles by Owen Gihula , Brady Hinz and Trevor Donaldson. Assists going to Evan Dowd, Buchanan , Hinz, Gilhula and Donaldson.
