Jared is returning as the HPL Major PeeWee Coach after an extremely successful 2012-2013 season with the HPL Minor PeeWee’s.
The HPL Minor PeeWee Lakers (2001s) had their best year ever. With 5 new Lakers and 2 non-parent coaches, new & old friendships and relationships were strengthened.They finished 2nd in the East division after roaring out of the gates unbeaten in their first 11 games. They were finalists at the Wally Beavis tournament in Peterborough and semi-finalists at the London early bird tournament.
The Lakers concluded the year by ending up semi-finalists in the playdowns, losing to the eventual champion London Knights.
Jared is a graduate of the Huron Perth Laker program. After his minor hockey, Jared played four years for the St. Marys Jr B Lincolns and served as a player scout after his playing career. Jared has also spent time in the St. Mary’s Minor Hockey Association as a head coach for the PeeWee BB team, and the assistant coach for St. Mary’s all Ontario Minor Midget team.
