Minor Peewees tough loss to Chatham-Kent Cyclones
Written by Ron Pryce

It’s more than just a game! Chatham Kent Cyclones came to Laker land to play the Minor Peewees on Saturday.  Before the game, the Lakers presented former Laker Zac Teale with the jerseys he wore as a Laker for the 2012/2013 season. Friendships were made with a  great kid and a great family who are now with the Cyclones. All your Laker friends wish Zac and his family the very best!!

The game, however, was a tough 2–0 loss for the Lakers. Overall the play on the ice was very even with the Lakers fore checking well and even outshooting their opponent, but Chatham got a couple bounces to go their way to grab the win!

The boys will now enjoy some time away from league play as they gear up for the Bauer World Hockey Invitational in Chicago next weekend. Good Luck Lakers!
