What is your most memorable athletic achievement?
My most memorable athletic achievement was winning the "Red Hats" in my Novice year. We had an amazing season with 2 tournaments in Detroit, including the International Silver Stick. Our league record was 19-0-1.
Outside of hockey, what are you most passionate about?
Outside of hockey, I really enjoy working out. I strive to be stronger and boost my endurance. In the summer, I also love to golf with my family and friends.
How would you describe yourself as a player?
I am a big right-handed defenseman that can use my size to win puck battles. I feel that I can also read and anticipate the play well, which allows me to be in the right positions both offensively and defensively. This season I worked a lot on my shot from the blue line to create offensive opportunities and rebounds for my team. During the off-season my goal is to keep improving my overall game and push myself to be the best that I can be.
What are your academic aspirations and accomplishments?
I continue to strive academically and maintain above-average grades in all my classes. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the trades as I really enjoy hands-on work.
What is something about you that most people would not know?
The past couple summers, I have worked at the Woodlands Golf Course in Clinton. I have been golfing since I was 4 years old and have become quite accomplished at the sport. I am looking forward to getting back on the links this summer!
