Minor Bantams Take Eastern Division Championship
The HPL Minor Bantams took the Eastern Division Championship with 20 wins and 47 points. The accomplishment is a huge recognition for the squad as they were the sole Lakers team to realize this goal. The Lakers have had much success of late as they were also tournament champions at the Oshawa Rogers/Fury Tournament.
This Lakers squad is pumped to enter the playoffs and will face Waterloo in their first round. The Laker Minor Bantams had the best of Waterloo in the regular season with a 2-1-1 record. With everyone healthy going into the playoffs, the squad will provide some exciting hockey in the weeks to come.
