Jack Chaffe to Coach the '97s in their Minor Bantam Year
The Huron-Perth Lakers are pleased to announce that Jack Chaffe will continue as Head Coach for the 1997 birth year into next season - their Minor Bantam year.

A resident of the Mitchell Area, Jack served as Head Coach for the Huron-Perth Laker Major Peewees this past season as well as in their Minor Atom and Major Atom years. He has over 20 years of coaching experience with various organizations including the Huron-Perth Lakers, Mitchell Minor Hockey (from Novice to Midget, including capturing one OMHA championship in Midget) and with the Jr. “D” Mitchell Hawks (capturing “Back to Back” OHA Championships).

Jack has been a member of the Huron-Perth Executive the past 3 years, sitting as Hockey Operations Chairperson for the past 2 seasons.

Jack played his minor hockey in Mitchell capturing 2 OMHA Championships, followed by Junior, Senior and College Hockey experience.

Jack considers himself as a Coach to be a skills teacher and a motivator and believes the key to success is through DEDICATION, DESIRE, DISCIPLINE (the 3 D's) and a good work ethic. At the Minor Bantam level, the main goal Jack has set for the team is to improve the players' work ethic thus making the players' personal and team goals easier to achieve.

Jack can be reached through his contact information posted on the team's coaching staff page (click here).
