Last Tuesday against the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs, the Lakers jumped out to a 2-0 lead. After some great work down low, Zac McCann passed to Tyler Hotson who hit Blake Wideman in front of the net with Wideman burying the shot to go ahead 1—0. The Lakers would start out with a lead against Windsor, controlling the play in the Spitfires end, Sheldon Pryce passed the puck back to Jack Robinson on the point who fired a nice low shot on net and Boreham put home the rebound. In the 2nd, Pryce, keeping the puck in the Windsor end, to Kaden Hoggart, fired a shot on net with Boreham in front scoring on the rebound to go ahead 2-0. Penalty trouble again as Windsor would battle back to tie the game at 2. With only 1:30 left in the game, Windsor would take a 3-2 lead. With the Laker goalie pulled, the Spitfires would add an empty net goal and 1 more in the final minute to end the game at 5-2.

Off to Essex to face the Panthers where the Lakers would fall behind 2-0 in the 1st period before McCann would score assisted by Hotson. The Panthers would answer back with 2 goals taking a 4-1 lead into the 3rd. Roes, taking the puck in deep getting it to Boreham who passed back to Dakota Coultes on the point taking a nice shot on net as Pryce would grab the rebound and score to make the score 4-2.
