Peewees Are Competing Well
The Major Peewees battled against some top ranked teams across Ontario and the U S in the Canadiens Cup Tournament.
Even though the record was 1 - 3 in Toronto the team battled hard all weekend , 1st against Belle Tire where the team was down 5 goals at one point and came back to make it a 7 - 5 final . Then a great game against Kingston where the Lakers would hang on for a 2 - 1 victory.
Day two was not so great losing 9 - 2 to Buffalo and 5 - 0 to North York Rangers . The team is learning lots at these tough AAA tournaments , which will make them stronger and tough to play against in the league where they are playing 500 hockey.
