The Major Peewees Have a Big 3 Point Weekend On The Road
The Lakers just returned home from their Windsor road trip grabbing 3 points from the West Division .
Even though the team dropped the first game to Sun County who is in 1st place overall right now , the Lakers would get stronger all weekend with a tie vs Windsor and then a win vs Chatham .
As the Lakers took a couple periods to get their legs going in the game against Sun County ,they would find themselves behind 4 - 0 in the 3rd . Then showing some life in the match the Peewees would pour it on scoring a couple goals in less than a minute . Aly Mcleod would score the first one from Sheldon Pryce and Kaden Hoggarth, and then Eric Roes would score from Blake Wideman . The Lakers would battle right to the end but the game would end up 4 - 2 final.
Windsor is up next in a game where the Lakers dominated most of the play . Mitchell LaFay would score the first goal unassisted to tie the game at 1 . Then in the second period tied at 1 , Nolan Gagnier scored assisted by Tate Gaylor to give the Lakers the lead . Windsor would tie the game at 2 just 1 minute later . Eric Roes gives the team a 3 - 2 lead again unassisted . But Windsor would tie the match up again 3 - 3 now . Before the end of the second Blake Wideman scored , assisted by Eric Roes and Nolan Gagnier to put the Lakers in the lead again 4 - 3. Into the we go as the Lakers have been searching for another win , Windsor would tie the game again ending it 4 - 4 .
The Lakers would then make a stop in Chatham on their way home to finish out the weekend . This game would see the Lakers dominate most of the game , taking advantage of Chatham penalties , winning the game 3 - 1 with all 3 Laker goals scored on the powerplay.
Sheldon Pryce with the first goal assisted by Connor Aarts , Eric Roes would score the 2nd goal from Callan Ferguson , and Aly Mcleod would score the 3rd Laker goal assisted by Connor Aarts . Great weekend by the complete Laker team .
