Major Peewee's Clinch Eastern Division Championship
With a month left in the regular season the HPL Major Peewee's have secured the Eastern division. The Lakers have 43 points at present out of a possible 52.
This dynamic club has dominated league play this year and could very well end up as top team overall with a strong finish in their remaining 6 league games. The HPL Peewees have scored 101 goals in 26 contests a 3.9 goals for average and have allowed 37 goals a 1.4 goals against average. A very balanced team with strong offensive capability and responsible defensive attitude also is fortunate to have strong netminders to achieve the perfect balance. When this squad is firing on all cylinders there is very little that can be done to stop them. Coach Coghlin and his staff are excited at the momentum his team has going into the playoffs this year and are a viable threat to win it all and progress to the All Ontario's.
