Late Additions add Strength & Depth
As the "official" start to the Major Midget season begins tonight, the NA Engineering Major Midget team shored up some additional offense with the signing of 3 solid players.

The Lakers travel to Waterloo to compete in the Alliance Midget Showcase being held this weekend at RIM Park. They will play 3 games in total which will count in the Regular Season standings.

When the team takes to the ice tonight against the Kitchener Jr. Rangers, they will have the 3 new players in the lineup:

Thomas Bedour- a 6'0" 185lbs Power Forward from Goderich joins the team after playing as an Affiliate Player for the Minor Midgets last season. His size & puck handling ability will make him an immediate threat inside the offensive zone.

Greg Trotter- a 5' 10" 170 lbs Forward comes to us via Stratford. After a successful season last year with the Stratford Minor Midget "AA' team, he will be a welcome addition to the team & showed off his solid work ethic earning the opportunity with the Lakers.

Spencer MacCormack- a 6' 0" 175 lbs true 2-way player comes to the Lakers via Waterloo with years of 'AAA' experience. His skill set is phenomenal & he will easily compliment his linemates while adding a potent offensive threat.

The Lakers would like to welcome these players to the team & wish them the best of luck throughout the season!
