Minor Atom Lakers split weekend
The Minor Atom Lakers split a pair of weekend games to sit alone in second place in the East division. Saturday afternoon the Lakers traveled to Kitchener to take on the first place Rangers. The Lakers ended the first up a goal but by the end of the second the score was knotted at 3 a piece. The Rangers were able to score on the power play late in the third on a double deflection that found the back of the Laker net. The Lakers went home empty handed, and looked to Sunday in Cambridge to get back into the win column. Sunday the Hawks came 

quickly and scored early in the first. The Lakers were able to respond and carry leads of 2-1 and 4-1 into the intermissions. At the end of the third the Lakers carried a 4-1 win home and sole possession of second place in the East division. Next weekend the Lakers host Hamilton on Sunday in Stratford in a rare one game weekend.
