Day 3 Results
Kindly turn to page 23 of the Souvenir Program. Bookmark it, read it and you may even want to memorize it! Before the end of the day on Thursday, it will be read more often then the local paper.
After Day 3, Toronto remains undefeated @ 5-0 and has clinched 1st Overall in the Prelim Round, while 2nd through 5th Place remain to close to call and is becoming apparent the Final Four may not be decided until completion of the last scheduled round robin game on Thursday.
The "What Ifs" have already started, but it is apparent there is no way to avoid the use of Tie Breaking procedures to determine the Semi Final match ups.
As it stands, Sun County, Gloucester & Kingston have identical 3-2 records for 6 points and each have 1 game remaining. Nickel City has a 2-2 record with 4pts but hold a game in hand and will play 2 games on Thursday.
Day 4 is shaping up to be the most exciting action yet and once again proves the high level of competition at this years Championship.
