Sun County Takes Games 1 & 2 in Windsor
Submitted By Shaun Peet on Sunday, March 18, 2007
Things didn't go as planned for the minor midgets this past weekend, dropping the first two games on the road in the best-of-five league finals.  In the series opener on Saturday afternoon, the boys just couldn't get anything going en route to an 8-1 defeat.  Five of the Panthers' goals came in the final frame.  Sunday was an entirely different team as the Lakers actually controlled a majority of the game, but just couldn't capitalize on their offensive chances and came up short, losing 3-2.  The Lakers will get the next two games at home next weekend at the Goderich MRC, with game three set to start at 7:00 pm.
