Minor Bantam's Two Weekend Wins Has Them Undefeated In Last Five Games
The Huron Perth Laker Minor Bantam's wins over Brantford and Hamilton last weekend now has them riding a 5 game unbeaten streak into a 3 game weekend schedule.

Strong play all round, despite further adversity had the HPL Minor Bantams coming away with 4 out of 4 points over the weekend. Saturday's match up against Brantford was a 2-1 win on the scoreboard but a loss for the roster. Dominic Pieroni and Liam Maaskant were sidelined with injuries during play leaving the bench shorter than it already had been.

For Sunday's match the Lakers were able to utilize the services of Iain Donnelly as an affiliate as both injured players were unavailable. Thankfully, the Lakers were firing on all cylinders and came away with a strong 5-1 win. Jacob Ringuette's play awarded him the remaining captaincy although the team has a strong group of leaders to carry them throughout the year.

The Lakers have an exciting weekend on tap with two of their three games hosting the league leading Lambton Sting beginning Friday night in Hensall at 7:30 pm.
