Minor Bantam Pre-season Opener vs. Halton Hurricanes
Huron Perth fans enjoyed a sneak preview of the Minor Bantam
Lakers on Sunday afternoon at the Milton SportsPlex.
The Minor Bantams host four new faces (Logan
Kellington, Scott Stovel, Justin Hergott, Isiah Waxman) on the team this year
and they all contributed to Sunday’s win over the Halton Hurricanes. Huron Perth held the edge in scoring chances but
only managed to score one goal from Brett Denny half way through the first
period, with Justin Hergott getting the shutout for the Lakers. A good start to the preseason. Up next is a pre-season game against the
London Junior Knights Wednesday the 29th at 7:30 pm in Listowel.
