U10 Lakers take top spot in the East, qualify for the Alliance Championship!!!
The U10 Lakers wrapped up their playoff season with a pair of wins over Kitchener and Brantford on the weekend. The victories give them a total of 7 wins, 1 loss and 14 points, clinching the top spot in the East Division.
The other two other teams from the East are not know as of yet with Brantford, Waterloo and Cambridge all tied with 6 points and games remaining. What we do know is the 2014 Huron Perth Lakers punched their ticket and will be playing in the U10 Alliance Championship in Komoka, April 12-14!!
The boys have had a great season so far highlighted by winning the Nations Cup in Detroit, qualifying for the medal round in The AAA Buffalo Cup before weather shutting the event down, finishing first in the East in the regular season and taking top spot in the East again in the playoffs. Here's hoping they can cap off what has been a fantastic season so far with a win at the Alliance Championship!!
