Monday evening will mark the "official" start of the tournament with the Opening Ceremonies scheduled to take place at 7:00 pm. Immediately following will be the much anticipated game between the ALLIANCE champion Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs and the host Huron-Perth Lakers. This will be a special event that is definitely worth attending in person, but if you can't make it we are pleased to announce that AM 920 will be broadcasting the game live, starting with their pre-game show at 7:45 pm. In the broadcast booth for the game will be veteran hockey commentators Scott Pettigrew and Steve Sabourin. Scott and Steve are well-known in the Huron-Perth area for their exciting broadcasts of local Junior B and Junior C games, and are looking forward to bringing AAA major bantam minor hockey to the airwaves as well.
