With a new coach leading the team, the
Kingston Junior Frontenacs began the season winning quite a few games.
They won Gold at the Quinte Cup Tournament and followed that up by winning the Limestone City Cup Tournament. But after battling through injuries, the Frontenacs still accomplished a 2
nd Place finish in the ETA East Division.
The first round playoff series against the Central Ontario Wolves was a hard fought series but advanced after a close 1-0 victory in game 6. After dropping the next round against York Simcoe Express, Kingston was fortunate enough to play a one game wild card game against the South Central Coyotes, winning 4-2. The win advanced them to the OMHA Championship.
Committed to playing as a team and doing their best, Kingston went undefeated and won the OMHA Championship.- A dream come true! Showing a lot of heart and a lot of team spirit, they have accomplished great things this year, and hopefully more to come.
